  NOS C7ZE Exhaust Manifolds

Here is an Ebay auction for a pair of NOS C7ZE Hipo exhaust manifolds by Ebay member "crowboy1022" with a stating bid of $599.00:

On the shelf for 45+ years: a NEW OE pair of 289-302 HiPo exhaust manifolds. They are original equipment for the 1967 Shelby GT350 but were also available through Ford's performance parts division.  The casting dates are located on the inboard (engine) side of each unit and they are 4-7-71 and 4-8-71.  Casting numbers are C7ZE-9431-A (left) and C7ZE-9430-A (right) and are located on the outboard side of each.
    The boxes did not age well and surface "shelf rust" is present.  I could have had them blasted for cosmetic prep, but I decided that the original texture of the castings might be preferred by the buyer.  I did lightly dress the mounting flanges with a file to confirm that it is light surface rust ONLY, and their prep needs are minimal.

   Yes, there are offshore reproduction manifolds out there, but they are not of the later C7 design nor do they carry the C7 casting numbers.  These are the real OE deal, unused with NO ISSUES. 


   A great upgrade for your 289-302 powered Mustang, Shelby, Cobra, or other fine Ford product.

   Check my other (2) listings for some more OE 289-302 hipo components from back in the day.

Hi, I just had this arrive in the post today and thought that I would share some pictures.
It is missing the choke linkage- I am thinking of buying a Mustang Etc repop?
Missing a brass tube- used parts carb?
Bent throttle linkage- straighten out or replace from a used carb?
The rear venturi booster does not have a check ball?- used parts carb?
Dashpot and bracket missing- used parts carb or NOS dash pot(eBay) and repro bracket?

Here is an Ebay auction for a used C7ZE Hipo harmonic balancer by Ebay member "acman63" with a Buy-It-Now of $475.00:

Shelby Gt350 Hipo Balancer Super rare AC   .   This is a very rare balancer used on 67  cars with AC .  Ive kept track of these balancers and so far Ive seen 6 like this .The center casting was originally marked C5OE A.  The 5 and the O were hammered out and restamped with 7 and E   creating a C7ZE A.   
The outer ring is the 68 style with the step at the back and with a wider inner diameter at the front to allow for fitting the larger 3 gang A/C pulley first used on 67 HiPO.   The L6 is indeed Nov. 66.  This is original production part.
It seems Ford used existing C5OE centers to produce the very few balancers needed for AC equipped HiPo motors in 1967.   By 68 production the center casting changed to a C8ZE A which also became the default service part.
If you try to fit an original 67 A/C crank pulley to the C5OE balancer you will see that it will not fit or will fit so tight as to bind on the outer ring. This is is in great condition.  I stripped it to bare metal so you can see the quality of the piece  ,  great rubber .  no wear on the shaft .  Paint and install. (BOX 6)

One set of 20 used Ford head bolts. Ten short and ten long. F in the center of the bolt head. Part number C2OZ-6065-A and C2OZ-6065-B   Very nice condition. These bolts were torqued down one time. Do your homework. Know your part. Ask questions. Buyer pays $12.00 shipping and handling 48 United States only.

Having recently taken possession of a '65 K code I have begun sorting the car and making the minor repairs that it requires. After purchasing the car I also bought Tony Gregory"s K code book and have found the car listed there so evidently there is history of the car in the community. I actually purchased the car from a consignor (that also titled the car in his name) who told me that he was selling the car for the family of the deceased owner. He had no documentation or paperwork to go along with the car and I would like to at least try to connect the dots if possible. Is there any way to access owner history through this site or any other? The VIN ends in 150765 and was previously titled in Utah.
